Mango Honey – for a fruit-forward finish
-
Lavender Honey – for an elegant floral note
-
Raw Wildflower Honey – for a pure, classic base
🥄 Ingredients:
For Honey Berry Syrup:
-
1/2 cup Wild Harvest Honey (your choice!)
-
1/2 cup cold filtered water
-
2 cups 100% orange juice
-
1/4 cup fresh ginger root, peeled and minced
-
2 cups fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
For the Fizz:
-
3 cups chilled sparkling water (or prosecco for a cocktail version)
-
4 fresh orange slices
-
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
-
4 sprigs fresh mint
-
Ice
🍹 Directions:
-
In a saucepan, combine honey, water, orange juice, ginger, and 2 cups of strawberries. Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
-
Remove from heat and mash strawberries into the liquid. Let cool completely.
-
Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth, pressing to extract all the flavor. Chill in the fridge.
-
To serve, pour equal amounts of honey berry syrup into 4 glasses. Add 3/4 cup sparkling water to each.
-
Garnish each with 1 orange slice, 1/4 cup strawberries, and a fresh mint sprig. Top with ice, stir, and sip!
💡 Tips & Twists:
-
Swap orange for lime slices for a citrusy edge.
-
Freeze edible flowers like pansies in ice cubes for a garden party look.
-
Add 1/8 tsp dried lavender to the honey syrup for an herbal touch.
-
For an adults-only twist, use prosecco instead of sparkling water.
