🔥 Honey Glazed Barbecued Spareribs

🐝 Ingredients:

4 lbs lean pork spareribs

Water
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/2 cup Wild Harvest Honey – choose from Carolina Reaper, Bourbon, Chipotle, Rosemary, or Wild Harvest Raw Honey

1/4 cup lemon juice
-
2 tsp lemon peel, grated
-
2 tsp fresh ginger root, grated
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
1 tsp rosemary, crushed
-
1/2 tsp crushed red chilies
-
1/2 tsp ground sage
🔥 Oven Directions:

Place spareribs in a large pot or skillet. Cover completely with water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer uncovered for 4 minutes. Drain (save liquid for stock if desired).

Season ribs with salt and pepper. Place on a rack in a roasting pan. Cover loosely with foil.

Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix together Wild Harvest Honey, lemon juice, zest, ginger, garlic, rosemary, crushed chilies, and sage.

Reduce oven to 350°F. Uncover ribs and brush generously with the honey mixture.

Bake for 1 hour, brushing every 15 minutes with more glaze, until ribs are tender and beautifully glazed.
