HONEY LIME CHICKEN TACOS WITH SRIRACHA

Juicy grilled chicken marinated in zesty lime, spicy sriracha, and your choice of Wild Harvest infused honey, served in warm tortillas and topped with a crisp, creamy honey-lime slaw. A bright, bold farm-fresh favorite!

Made with Wild Harvest Honey Farm’s Local or Infused Honeys

YIELD: Makes 5 servings

🍯 For the Marinade:

  • Juice of 2 limes

  • 1/4 cup Wild Harvest Honey – try Carolina Reaper for bold heat, Mango or Pineapple for tropical sweetness, or Local Wildflower for a balanced flavor

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

🌿 For the Tacos:

  • 10 flour or corn tortillas

  • 12 oz coleslaw mix (cabbage, broccoli, carrots)

  • 1 tbsp Wild Harvest Honey – great choices include Apple Spice, Gingerbread, or Peppermint for a unique slaw twist

  • 2 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tbsp vinegar

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

🔥 Directions:

  1. Whisk together all marinade ingredients. Place chicken and marinade in a resealable bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).

  2. Grill chicken until fully cooked, then let rest.

  3. While the chicken grills, prepare the slaw: In a bowl, combine coleslaw mix, honey, lime juice, vinegar, and mayonnaise. Stir until well coated. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Slice the grilled chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  5. Warm tortillas, then fill with chicken and top with the slaw. Serve immediately!
