Event Schedule & Highlights:

🌸  2:00PM | Guests can start to arrive.  – Depending on how long you need to settle into the gardens, prepare your display, and enjoy the serene surroundings. 
🌸 5:00 PM | Competition Commences – Let the judging begin!

• Your picnic display, culinary delights, and costume will be reviewed by esteemed judges, including representatives from the DeWitt County Museum.

• A Waltz Lesson will be offered—gracefully guiding you through the timeless steps of Regency dance.

🌇 After dining, guests are invited to stroll the gardens at sunset, basking in the twilight glow of the summer evening.

Competition Details:

Participants will be judged in three key areas:

• Picnic Display – Creativity, elegance, and theme.

• Food Presentation – A feast for both the eyes and the senses.

• Costume Attire – Individual and couples' Regency-inspired fashion.

Awards to be Bestowed:

• Best of Show – Highest overall score across all judging categories.

• Crowd Favorite – Voted by fellow guests.

• Best Dressed Individual

• Best Dressed Couple

• Each guest is responsible for their own picnic setup, including food, drink, décor, and tableware.
